Oh, and Harry, I like the paint arrows they remind me of the charming AARs of my distant youth, when EU2 was the most modern Paradox game and you were lucky to get it working more than twenty minutes without a crash to desktop. I can't afford to call off the invasion, because a) it's almost over and doing so won't save much time and b) taking Sinkiang is basically the most important thing I can possibly do at this point to ensure my success because it gives me the ability to establish trade routes with the Soviets that don't require convoys. Honestly, my biggest concern is not in the north, it's the fact that I haven't currently got anything that I could counter a Japanese landing with I need a corps or so to manage that, and that's still all the way over in Sinkiang. I'm already in position on my border with Japan, but I'll have nothing on the border with what used to be Shanxi and my defence won't be properly organised. The reason I did things this way around, rather than taking the northern states first, is because if this exact thing happened, my armies are already in the correct part of the country.
